Terms of Service
The rules for using Classroom Hub — accounts, trials, subscriptions, and your responsibilities as a teacher or school user.
Last updated: June 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Classroom Hub, including the marketing website at classroomhub.app and the application at my.classroomhub.app (together, the "Service").
By creating an account, starting a free trial, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and where applicable our Data Processing Addendum (DPA). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Classroom Hub. Please read them carefully before signing up.

The Service
Classroom Hub is a web-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps teachers manage their classrooms. Features include, but are not limited to:
- Class dashboard, morning routine, and Classroom Screen
- Homework check-in, seating groups, and exit tickets
- Weighted gradebook and end-of-term reports
- Class points, reward store, achievements, and behaviour incidents
We may add, change, or remove features from time to time. We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance or circumstances beyond our reasonable control may cause temporary downtime.
Feature descriptions on classroomhub.app are for general information. The Service available in your account is what we provide under these Terms.
Eligibility
The Service is intended for teachers, school staff, and educational institutions. To create an account you must:
- Be at least 18 years old, or be authorised by your school or employer to use the Service on its behalf
- Provide accurate registration information
- Have the authority to enter student data into the platform where applicable
Students do not create their own accounts. Student data is entered and controlled by the teacher or school, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to enter and process any student personal data you upload to Classroom Hub, and for complying with your school's policies and applicable safeguarding requirements.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Keep your password secure and do not share your login details with others
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Ensure the information associated with your account remains accurate and up to date
We may suspend or restrict access to your account if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, if your account poses a security risk, or if required by law. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you before taking such action where practicable.
Free Trial and Subscriptions
Classroom Hub offers a single Pro plan with a free trial and paid subscription options:
- Free trial
- 14 days of full Pro access. No credit card required to start.
- Annual plan
- £49 per year, billed annually after the trial ends.
- Monthly plan
- £5.99 per month, billed monthly after the trial ends.
- Billing
- Payments processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
When your 14-day trial ends, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using Pro features. If you do not subscribe, your access to paid features will end at the conclusion of the trial period.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual, depending on your chosen plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing settings in your account, which uses the Stripe Customer Portal.
We may change subscription prices with reasonable notice. Price changes apply to renewals after the notice period and do not affect the price of your current billing period.
Refunds and Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. When you cancel:
- You retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
- Your subscription will not renew for the next period
- No further charges will be made after cancellation takes effect
We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, unused time, or downgrades, except where required by applicable UK consumer protection law.
If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase. However, by subscribing to a paid plan and accessing Pro features immediately, you expressly request that the Service begins straight away and acknowledge that you waive your right to a full refund for that billing period once performance has begun. You may still be entitled to a proportionate refund or remedy where required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable law. Contact us at [email protected] if you believe this applies to you.
The free trial does not require payment. If you do not subscribe before the trial ends, no charge is made.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful classroom and school management purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose
- Upload content that is defamatory, harassing, obscene, or that infringes the rights of others
- Misuse student personal data or enter data you are not authorised to hold
- Share account credentials or allow unauthorised persons to access your account
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
- Scrape, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or excessive automated requests
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without our written consent
We may investigate and take action — including suspension or termination — if we reasonably believe you have violated this section.
Your Content and Student Data
You retain ownership of the content and data you enter into Classroom Hub, including class records, student information, grades, notes, and other materials ("Your Content").
By using the Service, you grant Classroom Hub a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service for you. We will not use Your Content for advertising or sell it to third parties, as described in our Privacy Policy.
To the extent that Your Content contains personal data subject to UK data protection legislation (including the UK GDPR), the parties agree that you are the Data Controller and Classroom Hub is the Data Processor. Our processing of such data is governed by our Data Processing Addendum (DPA), which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of Your Content. You must have appropriate rights and permissions to upload any data you enter, including student personal data.
When you close your account or cancel your subscription, Your Content is handled in accordance with our data retention policy — account and associated class data is deleted within 90 days of cancellation. You may request earlier deletion at any time (including under your right to erasure) by contacting [email protected], and we will honour valid requests without undue delay.
Intellectual Property
Classroom Hub and its licensors own all rights in the Service, including the Classroom Hub name, logo, user interface, software, documentation, and marketing materials. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the Service.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service except as expressly permitted by these Terms or with our prior written consent.
Disclaimers
Classroom Hub is an educational management tool. It is not a substitute for professional educational, legal, safeguarding, or medical advice.
- You remain solely responsible for grading decisions, reporting to parents or administrators, and safeguarding your students
- We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your specific requirements or produce particular educational outcomes
- The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable UK law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and subject to any statutory rights you may have under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (including rights regarding defective digital content), Classroom Hub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to Classroom Hub in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings where available.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees when due, or if we discontinue the Service. Where practicable, we will give you reasonable notice before termination, except where immediate action is required for security, legal, or abuse reasons.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply. Your data will be handled as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service and cancel your account.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence require otherwise.
If you have a complaint about the Service, please contact us first at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it.
